Police are appealing for information after a woman was threatened by a man holding a knife in Bodmin.
The incident occurred at around 8.20pm on Sunday 5 August in Beacon Road.
The woman was confronted by a man holding a military style knife when she was out walking her dog.
The man is described as white, 5ft 6ins, aged between 50 and 60, with short, greying hair and tanned skin. He was unshaven with a haggard appearance; he may be homeless and sleeping rough. He was wearing jeans, a scruffy khaki jacket and a checked shirt underneath.
Police would like to hear from anyone in the Beacon area of Bodmin or surrounding estates who may have seen this man or someone with a similar description.
