A 50-year-old man had to be airlifted to hospital last night after suffering cardiac problems.
Ambulance crews treated the man at his house in Camelford before requesting an air transfer.
The search and rescue helicopter from RMB Chivenor, in North Devon, was scrambled via a call from Swansea Coastguard.
Helicopter crews arrived at the scene at around 8pm and collected the man from outside his house.
He was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth for further treatment.
The crew from Chivenor were back at their base by 9pm.
