Police warning following unexplained deaths – Cornwall

Police in Cornwall are warning heroin users of the dangers following two possible drug overdose deaths.
 
On Wednesday 18th July Police attended a property in Illogan near Redruth following the death of a 47 year old man.
The following day Thursday 19th July Police were called to a property in Truro after a 36 year old man was found deceased.
 
Although results of a post mortem are awaited police suspect that both deaths may be drug related and possibly linked to a batch of particularly strong and cheap heroin .
 
They are warning drug users to be particularly careful at present and to seek support for their drug addiction.
 
Police have also been liaising with key drug support agencies and made them aware of the current strong heroin in circulation.
