Police appeal for witnesses following theft of drugs – Liskeard

Officers in Liskeard are investigating a burglary where drugs have been stolen. A veterinary surgery in Heathlands Road, was broken into around 9.30pm on Saturday 9th June. A passing police patrol was alerted by the alarm sounding on the premises. A side door was forced using a sledgehammer and crowbar which were left at the scene by the offender(s). A quantity of drugs were stolen from the premises along with a quantity of cash. The stolen drugs include Diazepam, Epiphen, Ketamine, Buprenorphine, methadone, midazolam and phenobarbitone. Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information concerning the burglary to contact them on the non emergency number 101 quoting log 812 090612.
The public should be aware that these drugs are a risk to health and should not be consumed.  If anyone is offered these drugs they should contact police as above.
